What type of wedding ceremony is yours?

What type of wedding ceremony is yours? Religious, Civil…?

No matter what the type of ceremony, I find a large proportion of couples say… “we don’t want a long ceremony, 15-20 mins should be enough…

WHY!

Your wedding ceremony is the most important part of the day! Your wedding ceremony is the part you want to remember most. Our photographs will certainly help you do that, but having a ceremony that isn’t rushed will help the experience be remembered in your long-term memory banks.

You could also perhaps create a keepsake during your wedding ceremony to also firm your memories. A candle (which is lit during the ceremony) from a church… a jar of sand from a beach wedding… or a time capsule which you only open after 25 years… for example.

We also think it is a great idea to print your vows out, and present them in a small frame that sits in your home where you can both read it from time to time. Your future children will ask you about it… what a wonderful conversation to have with your kids!

Of course these are all suggestions, but I think you get my drift.

Yes, I’m a big sook, and I’m proud of it.

Thanks for reading,

Cheers

  1. I liked the idea of printing out the vows, frame it and hanging it on a wall. Personally, I believe that when a couple read their vows at times, They don’t need any renewal of vows to rebuild their relationship. If they believe the words on vows, it will work like a tonic. : ) Anyway, Thank you for the Idea.. 🙂
